Today I continued working on my car video. It is near completion, I only need to add the rolling credits, and a bit more of effects into the video. I believe that my video matches perfectly to the music of the Teriyaki boys, especially the intro beat. I think I can finish my car video within one or two classes, and it will be definitely more than 30 seconds long.

Today I spent the day watching movies and working on my essay. I am finishing my essay right now, and will turn it in tomorrow. I am having a writer's block, but I will do my best on my essay. Next classes I will continue working on my car video projects, so I can have it finished for the Friday before Spring Break. After hopefully I have enough time to start and finish my How To video. It will be challenging to add in all the effects, voice overs, and proper editing for an excellent final product. I will do my best!

Today I worked on my essay. Tomorrow I will finish my essay, to have it complete and ready to turn into Ms. Norman on Friday. Today I also participated in the tech showcase, a lot of people were interested in our Wiimote Smartboard, especially the part where we said it was super cheap. Compared to last year, the showcase was a total success, maybe more than triple the amount of people actually showed up for the event, probably because it was in the new building and it made it more exciting.

Friday
Today I worked on my paper, and socialized basically. After I finish my paper I will work on my car video, its the closest one to finish before spring break. If I finish beforehand I will work on my "How to build a IR LED pen" video. I think the "How to" video will be easier than the car video, because matching video with music is very hard. I will try to finish everything as soon as I can.

Today I worked on my paper to explain how our project could be introduced to the educational world, and the business world. Enrique's computer is still messed up, but I believe you have the videos converting or converted. That way we can finally work on our video projects, although even so i don't think we're behind compared to the rest of the PT2 students population. I believe in efficiency, the most of amount of work you can do in the least amount of time. So you have to balance the sweetspot between very good work and long time, and poor work in no time. Something in the middle is best when you have a deadline.

Today I should have started with my video project, but had a technical difficulty and could not get my video from Enrique. His computer got messed up, so hopefully we have the files by tomorrow. I will start putting my How to Video together, I hope it comes out decent. It will be awesome. I also hope the fast-forwarding technique and voice over will work. This project rocks, especially since I'm playing Spider Solitaire.. on the wall!

Today we started using the LED infrared pens. They are awesome. We played chess and solitare with the newly developed pens, we completed the Wii-mote smartboard project! We also filmed ourselves playing and using the pens to demonstrate how it worked. Next class we will probably continue playing with it a bit, and work on our how to projects on Adobe Premier.

Today I finished my first pen. Complete success. It was not very difficult for me since i had previous experience with circuits. It may be difficult for other people because they do not know a single thing about electricity or circuits, I'm in physics, I know some of the stuff. Tomorrow I will try to finish my second pen, and film all of the process.

The fun begins, the pen assembly. Today we cleared out and prepared our markers to start the project. We filmed it with two camera angles, so we had two-way view of it. It will look super cool on the Adobe Premier Project. I also created my own circuit with the battery and the LED light to test the light and circuit making, I know how I will do it, now I only have to film and do it. I won't be able to until next week, because of CAISSA. (I am therefore exempted from two blogs!)

Today we started putting the pen materials together. We are doing two projects at once, the IR Pen Wii-mote Whiteboard, and a How to Build the IR Pen via film on Adobe Premier. I think the building of the pen will be rather difficult, but we will definitely make it work. The filming of making the pen should be done, and then fast-forwarded in Adobe Premier, we simply record a sound over it for time saving. Today I will get my batteries, and I'm excited for the building tomorrow!

I just came back from a trip, it was very fun. During the trip i took various photos, and of course, filmed stupid, but fun stuff we did. I learned a few techniques for filiming. You HAVE to keep the platform where the camera is standing still. The image quality if much better when it is. You also get dizzy if the camera is held by hand. Whenever you have a chance to put your camera on a tripod or table, you should do it. I will definitely use the tripod for filming my pen-making process.
